A sturdy 41mm front fork handles suspension duties up front and an adjustable Uni-Trak® rear suspension system helps the KLR®650 motorcycle deliver an all-around composed riding character while front and rear disc brakes help you stop with confidence.

Optimized suspension settings, a long swingarm and an integrated rear frame contribute to confident handling, whether on a single track, backroad or interstate highway.
The KLR®650 S features a seat height of 32.1-inches vs. 34.3-inches on the KLR®650. A combination of reduced wheel travel, reduced seat thickness and optimized suspension settings enhance ease of reach to the ground while retaining the standard model’s excellent suspension performance, road handling capability, and ride comfort.
DISC BRAKES

S MODEL
The new KLR®650 S is built off of the reputable and reliable KLR®650 platform and carries over all of the same great features, but offers a lower seat height compared to the KLR650. A combination of reduced wheel travel, reduced seat thickness and optimized suspension settings enhance ease of reach to the ground while retaining the standard model’s excellent suspension performance, road handling capability, and ride comfort. Accompanying the reduced seat height is a new increased shifter-to-footpeg distance, and shorter side stand.
